EDGE LIFE EXPO 2008 PREVIEW
PART TWO: FOUR QUESTIONS WITH OUR SPEAKERS
To better acquaint you with our 2008 Presenters,
we asked each speaker the same four questions: What was the most sacred moment
you have had in your life? Why are you optimistic about the future of humanity
in this time of uncertainty and fear? What holistic practice is a part of your
life to help you maintain health and wellness and to connect with your spiritual
Self? What single message do you want to share with us from your heart?
Following each interview is information on their talk. Speaker Tickets
are now on sale at Edgelife.net/tickets or
at toll-free 1.888.810.2065. Purchase of a speaker ticket includes free admission
to Expo Hall and any or all free workshops that day.
• DEBORAH LYNN 11 • I
used to live in fear. I had no idea that there were choices for people. I have
since redefined the meaning of Heaven on Earth. I now see my life on earth as
it is in my heaven.
• GEORGE CATLIN, Ph.D • God
exists. Spirit will triumph in the end. And we're actually just coming into a
great stretch in human history.
• ISHA • When
I became enlightened, I realized that everything is the same; that we are all
one, we’ve all always been one, and that the only thing that is real is
love
• KATHRYN HARWIG • I
chuckle, sometimes, when I think that I channel. Until the day the Light Collective
introduced themselves to me, I was one of those people who did not believe channeling
was real.
• SUNNY DAWN JOHNSTON • Change
is happening...people are becoming more aware! It is a beautiful thing to see
people moving towards their spirit!
• SUSAN JUST • "This
is your soul. It's young, innocent and still growing. You must take care of it,
love it, and guide it compassionately."
• JOHN LAUGHLIN, DDS • I
believe we all need to set our egos aside and do our best to think, feel, and
act from a position of love and care for each other on a local and global level.
• SAGE LEWIS • I
choose to see the possibility for greatness that exists in all beings rather
than focus on uncertainty and fear. The animals have taught me that it takes
far less energy to choose love than fear -- just more awareness.
• RITA LOUISE, Ph.D., ND • We
can choose the path of destruction or we can choose to create a new world, one
where mankind takes its next evolutionary step. Through this process of unfolding,
millions are being exposed to spiritual principals that were often left hidden
and unspoken. As these concepts resonate with our very being, it allows us to
expand our knowledge of ourselves and the world in which we live.
• THOMAS MORTON • Everything
in the known universe is cause and effect. We are all creators of our own experience.
Some of us know this, some of us are learning this and some of us are still blaming
everyone else for our problems.
• NORM SHEALY, MD • Truth
and Light always succeed. There have always been problems and naysayers, but I
have noted for many decades that good always outweighs bad. Justice is sometimes
slow, but it is inevitable.
• MASTER SOULAIRE • If
you hold hope, opportunities of momentum and infinite possibilities are at your
disposal and command. People lose hope when they project fear into the future.
It continually takes you out of the moment, the NOW where you exist.
EDGE LIFE EXPO 2008: A HOLISTIC EXPERIENCE returns November
8-9 to Minneapolis Convention Center, presenting: a dozen internationally known
speakers, 150 exhibitors with products, information and unique gifts; intuitive
readers; sample alternative healing sessions; and free workshops daily.

Our Evolving
Self: Transforming in this very Instant • From
the Editor | by Tim Miejan • While it once seemed like there
was an incredible chasm between those in the metaphysical world and others
who seemingly knew nothing about it and didn't care, I am convinced that
it no longer exists. What is becoming all too clear is that there is
no separation between any of us, despite outward appearances.

Opportunities Abound
for Souls to Grow • Gary's
Insight | by Gary Beckman • Our
economic system is failing because of greed and dishonesty. It will naturally
change by default. Or, if we are wise, we can participate in consciously
creating this change by collaborating with each other and with institutions
and world leaders.
INTERVIEWS
The Return of the Teachers:
An Interview with Benjamin Creme: Part 2 • Part
1 • by
Tim Miejan • "The
essence of market forces is greed and separatism. The more one is attached
to these forces, the more they create cells of imprisonment. This leads to
spiritual bankruptcy and mental disequilibrium..."
-- Maitreya
The Sacred Sites of the Dalai Lamas: Q&A
with Filmmaker Michael Wiese • by
Jill Mangino • I
wanted to make a film that celebrates Tibetan spirituality and the rejuvenation
of their culture. Basically, I wanted to make a film where they too could join
a pilgrimage with open eyes and hearts.
EXCERPT
A Radical Shift in Consciousness • by
Christina Donnell, Ph.D. • I felt dazed and
bewildered, as if returning from a foreign land, but was soothed by the sun
shining on my face through the window. My friend Miriam was sitting on the
edge of my bed. I tried to lift my arms and hands, but they felt limp and lifeless.
And while I could understand every word Miriam spoke, I could not sequence
a thought or speak. I learned that I had been in this state for almost 36 hours.

Passion Fuels Holistic
Weight-loss Approach • by
Paula Caldwell • We tend to look for
the magic in a new diet and when that doesn't work we begin to feel hopeless
and say, "What's the use to even try again?" The solution lies
in the truth that "It's not about finding the right diet."
This Too Shall
Pass • by Rev.
Lisa Severson • Everyone goes through dark times.
When we are gaining wisdom and moving along our spiritual paths, there will
be times when we are called on to let our old selves die so that our new selves
may be reborn. |
