Healing and Intuition
You Must Know Yourself Before You Can Fully Heal
by Gordon Rosenberg

When you first set out to heal your body -- or to allow yourself to be healed -- it's quite helpful if you seek to learn as much as you can about who you are at your core. Another way of saying this is that you "rediscover your intuition," your ability to know what's going on in all levels of your being simultaneously. The more knowledge you have about your essence, about the ways in which you and your body respond to this world, the better you'll be able to heal yourself, and the more easily you'll be able to live here. In this regard, rediscovering and developing your intuitive abilities is the best way to live a more fulfilled and healthier life.

All healing is really done at the "core level" by the person who is being healed. Anyone who may assist you in the healing process is only your assistant, there to serve you in a way specifically appropriate for your own body and your soul (the deeper aspects of your being). The intuition is your guide to the inner self. It's a roadmap to a place that transcends third-dimensional aspects of our physical lives. When you begin to unlock the intuition, you become more aligned with your spirit: You learn how to be, in essence, what you've always been. Healing is not something done outside of you. It's done fully inside you. You don't heal in a vacuum. No one else heals you, no matter how gifted or knowledgeable they may be. You don't heal at someone else's hands. You must heal yourself, and when you do, you often heal yourself on all levels at once -- physical, mental and spiritual.

Full-dimensional healing heals all your parts that are out of touch with this worldly reality. These parts may have been trying to access a free flow of universal energy for your entire life. We all have such parts, which for one reason or another, are cutting off this free flow of energy. Universal energy keeps everyone healthy here. It's the energy that flows through all of us all the time and keeps us from being disconnected from our universe, and from ourselves. You begin to heal by learning to be what you really are, by learning that you're an intimate and innate part of this universal flow every moment. You learn to heal by getting in touch with places in you that are out of touch with your present physical reality.

Why is this so important? It's because until you learn to heal your body in the context of your present reality, you have parts that are "cut off" from the flow of universal energy. When we're disconnected from ourselves and the total energy field that envelops us, we don't know how to heal, we don't know how to get in touch with our deeper aspects, and we don't know who we are. We also don't know how to transmit universal healing energy through our bodies. This is very important, because it's our ability to channel creative and healing energy to those around us -- to bring through energy to serve our world and those in our lives -- that goes a long way toward keeping our bodies healthy. In a sense, we need to have this flow of energy going through our bodies to be healthy, and the flow is evoked by our own awareness and our connections -- our relationships -- with others.

This healing process is cyclical, in that freely flowing universal energy brings us face-to-face with our own intuitive abilities, and with the places where we're blocking these abilities. As we open further to the intuition and learn how to better channel these energies onto this planet, we discover the places that need to open further so we can heal the physical form and also to become more self-aware. Each part of the process magically serves every other part. As we open to the intuition, we discover how we can better heal, and as we better heal our bodies and all parts of ourselves, we become more in tune with our intuition. It is a magical process fully choreographed by the source of all universal energy, by whatever name and identity you may give this source.

It is most evident that the path to both healing and self-awareness leads directly through one's place of intuition, as well as through the place of eternal wisdom and joy! Whichever specific path or discipline you choose to follow, you must learn how to know what's inside you and how you relate your innermost energies to the physical world. What makes you tick? Why are you here? Where are you going? This is all pertinent information which you must gather as you embark on, and ultimately complete, the journey to self-awareness and healing. As you access and develop the intuition, you complete your journey through the world of form and you ultimately become your truly formless and fully healed being. This process continues for as long as you're here, or for that matter, for as long as you're anywhere, which in my opinion, goes on forever.

You have lots of time to heal, and the sooner you get deeply in touch with your intuition, the faster you'll get there.
