The Healing
Oh, Beloved Child...you're not really alone
Though your path has been long
And your pain was unknown...
There's an Angel who's with you...
She came 'cause she knew
That you needed a friend...
Someone there...Just for you!
She brings hope and comfort, magic and love
She calls in the animals
from land, sea and Above!
The dolphins will rise up, the mammals caress
For they cry when they see a child in distress!
Their kind hearts are heavy
Great sadness they'll feel...
Until that great day when the
Last Child Can Heal!!!
[The artist painted "The Healing," this month's cover art, for a little
girl named Faith, her niece, in the hope it would someday help her to heal the many
emotional scars from years of abuse. It is the artist's sincere hope that it will
help others to heal, as well.]
A New York native, Ali Miner has created art since childhood. Angels and Goddesses
began appearing on her canvases in 1989, and in 1992, she created her line of "Consciousness
Cards."
