with Pandemics by Holly Henson SARS - What exactly is this medical mystery that has captured world headlines? Is it a bio engineered super-germ, cooked up by man? Or a cockroach-hopping mutant "pay back," compliments of Mother Nature? This article examines Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome, from hypothesis to hype, using mainstream media and the best alternative news websites as our guides -- and hopefully offer some ideas on how to stay in "the peace zone" of this swirling medical maelstrom. Mainstream media tells us SARS began in China in November 2002 when it was first diagnosed as "atypical pneumonia." Its epicenter was in China's southern Guandong province, an agricultural area known for its huge cattle farms -- and as a major beef supplier to Hong Kong, one of the hardest hit areas. One hypothesis was that, like Mad Cow Disease, the virus jumped from cattle to humans. No one knows exactly how SARS originated (later theories suggested cockroaches were the carriers), but it has been linked to the spiky crown-shaped coronavirus -- as well as to Chlamydia. It could be two (or more) viruses that somehow work together to create SARS. Like the common cold, it is spread by droplets in face-to-face contact. Many of Hong Kong's victims also suffered from chronic illnesses such as heart or kidney disease. The death rate is 3.5 percent and quarantines have been established in Toronto, China, Hong Kong, Singapore and parts of Canada. George Bush has given health officials the authority to quarantine here in the U.S., although there have been no fatalities in this country. The World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control are attempting to develop a preventative vaccine. Meanwhile, the disease and subsequent quarantines are negatively impacting tourism and the airline industry. Those are the established facts...but it seems we're not getting enough info packed into those "sound bites" squeezed between commercial breaks. For example, if the death rate is 3.5 percent, that means 96.5 percent are defending themselves naturally. What are they doing right? Why is SARS an epidemic, when it's only killed a few hundred worldwide, while malaria kills up to 2.7 million yearly and tuberculosis kills perhaps three million more -- and they are virtually ignored? Have any comparative studies been done on travelers to foreign countries to determine that perhaps, say, 3.5 percent of all people who travel come down with a mysterious "flu"-like disease (perhaps induced by breathing airplane cabin-air)? How can you call SARS a "new" disease when it's yet to be established as one condition -- and the symptoms (shortness of breath, cough, fatigue and respiratory complications) are vague enough to encompass numerous other illnesses? Like a bad horror movie, basic plot questions go unanswered, while mounting hysteria is being portrayed as news. Mainstream media spends a great deal of time connecting the dots of disaster and hardly any time asking basic questions. For example, they focus on the economic slump in the hard hit tourism and air travel industries but neglect to mention the stunning growth in the medical, pharmaceutical, security and law enforcement sectors (due to SARS). And they neglect to point out that a new disease equals big bucks and big headlines. Papers are sold, careers are launched, reputations are made, public health agencies get funding and there are billions of dollars to be made in off-shoot cottage health industries. Acclaimed investigative reporter Jon Rappoport (www.nomorefakenews.com) calls SARS the "Say Anything Regarding Sickness" disease. Rappoport contends that SARS is not, as many theorize, a man-made bio engineered disease. He claims that it is a psychological operation (PSYOPS) being launched and controlled by not having a SARS germ at all. Unleashing a super-germ could produce an unknown and uncontrollable effect. He theorizes that it's far easier to roll together several diverse illnesses under one header. SARS then becomes a propaganda-magnet that draws in all sorts of diverse and unrelated illnesses. If depopulation is the endgame, pharmaceutical companies then create and sell a drug treatment that is designed to be highly toxic -- and will make them a tidy fortune to boot. Focusing heavily on SARS will also obscure the fact that all illness stems from immune system weakness brought on by street drugs, medical drugs, vaccines, contaminated water, pesticides, toxic dentistry, junk diets, nutrition deficiencies, excess refined sugar, stress, war, grinding poverty and hopelessness, etc. Compliments of SARS, the government can impose travel bans, quarantines, test global surveillance and legally push the agenda of a medical police state. Slowly the public will become accustomed to quarantines, and, if confined to their homes, will have even more time to bask in the glow of a steady stream of "must-see" propaganda TV. SARS is an all-purpose, all-tempra-disease -- and could become an effective tool to cut down on the number of, say, dirty protesters at an anti-war (or anti-new world order) rally. Rappoport notes that the Center for Disease control could easily have framed SARS as a flu, but they didn't, because he believes SARS is a trial balloon to "see how they react" and test the waters for future violations of civil liberties. Dr. Leonard Horowitz, DMD, MA, MPH, is an internationally respected health care speaker, acclaimed author and operates the website www.tetrahedron.org. He calls SARS: a "Sickening And Repulsive Scam." He believes that SARS is a man-made weapon to program society for the heralded "big one" -- a biological agent that will decimate approximately one third to half the world's population. He points out that the first telltale clue that SARS is a PYSOPS campaign is its dependence on propaganda to herald its very existence. He believes that the 3.5 percent death rate is insufficient cause for such widespread panic and poses some serious questions about world health agencies that are working on a SARS vaccine. The World Health Organization is a U.N.-sponsored organization rumored to have helped spread AIDS to Africa via contaminated hepatitis B and/or polio vaccines. The U.N. itself has been heavily influenced by the Rockefeller family members and their corporate interests. Horowitz argues that the Rockefeller Family Foundation, U.N. and World Health Organization remain at the forefront of administering "population programs" designed to reduce world populations to more manageable levels. Suspiciously under-reported is the fact that John D. Rockefeller joined Prescott Bush and the British Royal family in sponsoring the first eugenics initiatives that gave rise to Hitler's racial hygiene programs. The media has similarly ignored government reports that U.S. military think tanks have been developing "creative / outside the box" and highly secretive population control policies since the late 1960s. These U.S. think tanks advocate the establishment of non-conventional warfare (i.e. disease) as well as new profit centers (i.e. the multi-billion dollar Homeland Security program). The implementation of advanced persuasion techniques (to persuade humanity to relinquish personal and social freedoms for the mirage of health, safety and security) also are a documented part of the agenda. The multi-layered plan advocates widespread pharmaceutical dependence (particularly on antidepressant drugs) -- as well as constant media distractions and manipulations. Undeniably mainstream media today is heavily influenced, if not entirely controlled, by multinational corporate sponsors who are protecting and advancing the interests of a relatively small number of global ("ruling elite") industrialists. According to retired news officials and ex-intelligence officers, the focus of the news is to follow intelligence agency (CIA) directives. It appears to be working. Why else would television herald new diseases and totally disregard organizations and laboratories that are creating them? Dr. Horowitz also finds the timing of SARS suspicious, hitting the economies of Asia/ China hardest at a time when the Chinese-Anglo-American relations are strained -- and China is politically allied with several of America's so-called "enemies." Microbiologic Armageddon is nothing new, for it's been heralded for years and touted endlessly in the media (for every potential "enemy" to hear) as America's one and only "Achilles Heel." What is new is the level of hype -- and the ripple effect of fear in the collective psyche, creating who knows what future reality? In the middle of such well-orchestrated chaos, how does one find peace? Dr. Horowitz recommends boosting your immune system through detoxification, deacidification / alkalization, oxygenation and bioelectric / energetic methods. Immuno-competence is more powerful than anything else, including the number of germs that invade your body and/or the virulence of each strain. • Connecting to spirituality and the actualization of love is key in determining health and longevity. Your physical body is a crystallization of electromagnetic harmonies from a song so sweet that if you heard it you would weep. If you have divine power resonating through every pore, cell and DNA strand, illness and disease cannot possibly coexist in this blissful state. Perhaps the biggest mystery about SARS is not whether it is a natural or man-made phenomenon, but why we don't turn off ( the TV) and visualize a better world?
