Divine Intervention: My Cat's Miracle Recovery with Psychic Ability & Natural Medicine
by Christina Ambrosino

My cat Pearl was a healthy young cat when she began to show recurring flu-like symptoms in spring of 2002. The vet said it was probably nothing serious. After three or four times of being on antibiotics and having some improvement (which was the pattern at this point), Pearl, my sweet kitty, began to have mobility problems.

I could see that she was having trouble controlling her legs, as if paralysis was beginning. Now came the series of tests: blood work, X-rays, urine analysis and more intricate blood tests. I was very worried at this point, and I kept feeling like she had a virus that was attacking her nervous system.

I have been a professional psychic (health intuitive and medium) for 11 years at that point, but this was my baby, the beautiful and loving little creature I rescued from my yard. Objectivity was not my strong suit at that point, a must for accurate psychic information.

The awful news came from a specialized blood test. My cat had a horrible illness called Feline Infectious Peritinitis (FIP) an illness that is certain to be fatal with no cure, with death expected in a few months. I was so devastated. I had just lost my other beautiful kitty to cancer, and I could not believe this latest fate.

The vet gave me little or no hope. Pearl was given the usual treatment for FIP -- prednisone for pain and suppressing the immune system and fluid therapy for hydration.

As awful as this was, I decided not to give up. I wanted to research this rare illness that was so feared and dreaded by veterinary medicine. I found a website from a vet in England, an expert on this particular illness, and in great detail she explained how it attacked and affected the animal's body.

After digesting that information, I decided to research natural medicine. I learned what the virus was doing to the body and treated it as such. I began Pearl on a twice-daily regimine. By this time, she was totally paralyzed. The vet strongly urged me to "put her down," for there was no hope. I blatantly refused, and the vet became angry. I wanted to do anything and everything that I could; if after that the Divine saw fit to still take this loving cat, then so be it.

Vitamins and more
With intuitive guidance, I began giving Pearl spirilina to detox and oxygenate the blood, Vitamin C to help boost the immune system, Vitamin E for the healing process, Omega 3 fish oils, oregano oil for infection, lecithin for signals from the brain to the spinal cord, aloe vera for inflammation and wheatgrass juice as a cleanser. The premise, as in holistic health care for humans, was to clean the colon that carried all of the toxins and illness then use the vitamins and supplements to build the body up again.

Within two weeks of this twice-daily treatment, Pearl began to move again. She then began to walk and gain more strength. The vets were amazed but still saw this as a temporary "stroke of luck" that was unrelated to my actions. But I was not affected, I continued to twice daily make the "concoction" that I knew was helping her. She would see the dropper coming toward her and dread having this nasty mixture nudged down her throat. Like children, animals do not like to take their medicine! But they must, so I made sure she did.

I continued this method for months, with Pearl continuing to improve. The vet (I found a different one who was more of a team player and was actually interested and open to my program) was beginning to take notice...and soon Pearl was being deemed "the miracle cat," for it was unheard of that a cat with FIP would survive more than a few months. Pearl was retested for the progression of this disease and results showed a vast improvement. Pearl is now "chunky," and all of her other tests are normal. The only symptom she now shows is weakness in her hind legs, which the vet links to long-term use of prednisone, which Pearl will remain on until her tests show she is back to normal.

In the past six months, a few veterinary assistants have used the same treatment for cats suffering from leukemia and other animals with health problems. All the animals have had a full recovery and are doing quite well.

She still walks daily
I had a friend utilize this regimine with her 75-year-old grandmother, a stroke victim, who was totally paralyzed for five months. Doctors gave her little hope. Now, that same woman walks with a cane, which is mostly for emotional support and security. This woman no longer speaks of "ending her life" but speaks of the gossip at the hairdressers shop where she still walks to daily!

I decided to utilize this health system for myself. I have had some health issues over the years, but I have felt great improvement and vitality since utilizing holistic and natural medicine. I have come to see this whole experience with Pearl as a life-learning lesson, with my kitty being my teacher!

I think the point is to understand that we need BOTH Western and Natural Medicine, which I integrated for Pearl's treatment. She needed both to get better -- one or the other probably would not have sufficed.

It has been one year and three months since my cat was diagnosed. The experts said she would be gone well over a year ago, but she is still with us and is getting stronger and healthier daily. I still have her on the program and she still runs when she sees that darn dropper coming. But that's OK, because after she takes her meds, I give her treats and tell her how much she is loved and I thank her for being my gift and messenger from the Divine!
