"Fledged" means having wings yet not necessarily able to fly.
A Fledged child looks down on his new world where he will some day fly as his brothers
and sisters. His young heart knows this is what to be, but for now he watches with
wonder and longing to be a part of the larger world his naturally loving spirit was
borne to.
For the beginning seeker the view is vast and exciting to the heart. Watching others,
listening and learning are primary to gaining physical, mental, spiritual discipline
and understanding. Patience and attentiveness as well as practice fill the days
until the strengths to leap from the edge (nest) bring one into the sky of the new
world with others who would welcome the new seeker.
About the Artist:
Garret Moore is an award winning artist, illustrator and digital artist. Being a
painter, illustrator and graphic designer for over 30 years, he has done covers for
books, magazines, CD and posters for many best selling authors and artists in the
U.S., Europe, Asia, Spain and South America. Garret was one of the first published
digital artists winning an international award for commercial digital illustration
in 1985.
Garret's science illustration for NASA, science books and software as well as new
age work in movie, book and music covers for artists and writers like, Dave and Steven
Gordon, Michael Stearns, Jane Roberts, Isaac Asimov, IASOS and many others show the
versatility and true renaissance spirit and understanding he is capable of as a visual
master. He continues to produce in 2-D and 3-D animation and illustration as well
as digital photography, pre-press and graphic design professionally at Dreaming Lizard

Garret is currently Creative
Director for ManyOne Networks and Aurora Concept Associates as well as Freelancing
and creating new art in digital media as he has since 1984.
